Mandate

Changemaker & Non-Profit Incubation and Capacity-Building Program
Billion Hopes Philanthropic Fund

Rationale

While India and the Global South are rich in intent, ideas, and grassroots leadership, the social sector continues to suffer from chronic underinvestment in core operations, leadership, systems, and strategy.

The Billion Hopes Philanthropic Fund recognizes that strong institutions create lasting impact. To catalyze systemic change at scale, the Fund mandates focused investment in incubating changemakers and strengthening nonprofit organizations through flexible operational grants and leadership support.

Program Objective

To incubate, stabilize, and scale high-potential changemakers and nonprofit organizations by providing unrestricted operational funding and fractional CXO-level expertise—enabling them to grow into resilient, mission-driven institutions capable of long-term impact.
